Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet Tonight we're going to see easily the most influential organization in the history of humankind, The Kids in the Hall. I believe it is not an exaggeration to say that The Kids in the Hall are possibly the last great hope for humanity to cure cancer, fix global climate change, and possibly even make Americans like Canada. And, of course, they're sick of the Swiss. Link to this article Posted at 02:21:45 PM EST by copus

Racist Clip Art I was taking a class a couple of weeks ago that was mostly based on PowerPoint slides. I'm usually annoyed by pointless clip art that doesn't have anything to do with the subject at hand. There was plenty of that in this course... but what really got me was a slide with this little image: Wait... what was that? Was that a white guy with a whip tying up a black guy with a tiny head? In what context would this clip art make sense? Am I missing something? I'm pretty sure this class wasn't about slavery. Or sadomasochism. Link to this article Posted at 08:05:46 PM EST by copus

Ambition is a dirty word and so is pizza We were driving through Cleveland this weekend, and I noticed a billboard that read, "Cleveland: Where Ambition is a Dirty Word." It struck me as sort of a bad slogan, especially in the poor urban neighborhoods I was driving through. Apparently this is all part of an art project. Art or not, Cleveland doesn't need this kind of advertising. I mean, they don't even get any respect from the pizza companies. I mean, really? Who was the marketing genius that thought that insulting another team was a great way to make money... especially when the shirts were on national television???
