Taking one for the toilet

I replaced the wax ring around my pink toilet today. I'm hoping that the dissolving ceiling in my garage is due to a leak with this toilet. Judging from the nastiness under the toilet, this was a good guess:

The replacement of the ring wasn't a big deal (assuming water isn't gushing into my basement right now), but cleaning up afterward was. I learned that you should never walk barefoot across newly mopped linoleum.

Especially while carrying a porcelain toilet tank lid.

Especially while being me.

I (and the tank lid) survived. Barely. Some of the tiles on the wall didn't, though. I'm also not sure I'll be able to walk tomorrow.
