Really, really random stuff. Oh, and poorly researched opinions. And bacon. Maybe.
For those fans of the Large Hadron Collider, there's a live webcam available here. Pretty cool stuff.

I see that Mount Blanchard is an actual stop on a "scenic byway" tour: as a main stop and also featured in the other points of interest. Simon has been put on some antihistamines, which supposedly have an anti-anxiety effect. The vet was afraid that the massive amounts of cat hair that he consumes would cause some long term digestive track troubles. Well, I will say the drugs work. Of course, they work in the same way that strong cold medicines have an "anti-anxiety" effect on me. I sometimes think Simon is going to just fall over while walking around. And his mewing sounds half-hearted at best. I guess we'll try this for another week and adjust the dosage accordingly. At least he's not overgrooming at the moment.

I guess most states *have* had secessionist proposals at various points in history. I guess we all love the Union just that much...
