Dazed and Confused

Simon has been put on some antihistamines, which supposedly have an anti-anxiety effect. The vet was afraid that the massive amounts of cat hair that he consumes would cause some long term digestive track troubles. Well, I will say the drugs work. Of course, they work in the same way that strong cold medicines have an "anti-anxiety" effect on me. I sometimes think Simon is going to just fall over while walking around. And his mewing sounds half-hearted at best. I guess we'll try this for another week and adjust the dosage accordingly. At least he's not overgrooming at the moment.

On another note, I guess the side effect of this drug on humans is "massive weight gain." Hopefully Simon doesn't grow large enough to overpower dogs and humans. This could be the beginning of the downfall of humanity.
